 |  | The way that these guys continue to play the same hockey, making the same mistakes year after year... 
 It's pretty obvious to everyone that attention to detail has long been one of the aspects of this squad that costs them in moments that matter.  You'd think they'd figure it out at some point that committing to a detailed game would probably see them take that next step....
 
 Right?  Like, it stands to reason that it's a missing element of their game?  Maybe that's the part they need to figure out?

 |  | Apparently (according to the beer leaguers explanation to the Oilers) the high sticking rule was changed (presumably last night after the second period). It's now discretionary and the refs are able to call 4 or 2 depending on their assessment of if the player is bleeding a lot or not really that much. 
 I'll be floored if we ever see this go the other way or really if we ever see it again period.
