Heck of a win. If we could just find a way to allow 0 shots in the first period, we might be unstoppable.

I miss the huge Bouch Bombs. That was nice to see.

What a game. Big win after all that playing and traveling. These are the good times. Oilers just love giving other teams a head start.

.. spotting the Avs 3 goals (with a decent goaltender).. and coming back to win 4-3 in regulation..? .. didn't see it happening.. teach me to underestimate the power of McD.. that was a gritty team win.. never gave up.. hats off!

Wow! Did not expect to see that result when I got up this morning. What an unbelievable run this has been over a brutal part of the schedule.
Hopefully they get a good rest today before they take on the dysfunctional Canucks tomorrow night.

It's time to completely break the spirits of the Canucks... the same way we broke the Flames after that playoff victory a few years ago. rock

We can easily beat the canucks. They are not having a good year. Lucky to be close to a wild card spot actually. Even their goaltending is horrific this year. We shouldn't have a problem with them. Hopefully they make the wild card and we get first and sweep them out of the playoffs too.

Miller got into an argument with Tocchet last game and got up and sat at the end of the bench by himself.

Let's help the Canucks out and ramp up their dismay. Hopefully their GM makes some crappy trades sending off Pettersson and/or Miller.

Tocchet was such a predictably bad hire. Who could have guessed his style wouldn't work long term in Vancouver in 2025?

Please do not feed the bears. Feeding the bears creates a dependent population unable to survive on their own. Bears.

Worked just long enough to convince Petey the future was bright in Vancouver and to sign for 8 x 11.6M :) That's all that matters now

Has an Oilers team since the last cup ever been this high in the standings after halfway mark? Never in the 2000s I believe.

Tied for 3rd in standings, 4 points behind 1st place capitals (how the hell did they get there?). Keep climbing!

For comparison, the 61 points the Oilers currently have is one less than the 62 points the teams in 2010 and 2011 finished with.

And both those teams had a better first 3 games than this one.
