Pickard was amazing.. starting to think we have 1A and 1B in net now..
Nice to see Nurse hit the empty part of the net finally.. could have had the hat but shot it right into the Pens logo..
McLeod on Leon's line is really giving it a new dimension.. he's carrying it into the zone most of the time now..
Kulak with Ceci works a lot better than Kulak with Desharnais..
McDAVID! Oh YEAH Baby!!
Tic-Tac-Tao!
Keep on Rockin' in the Free World
P. Chiarelli math.. T. Hall = A. Larsson, Yak= bag o'pucks (OK he got one right...) K. Russell = $4.1 M+NMC, G. Reinhart= M. Barzal + A. Beauvillier, J. Eberle = R. Spooner,

I agree with you about Pickard. I don't know about long term but for this season, he looks at least to me to be capable of being a back up. He's playing like a hungry guy who sees his NHL future in front of him and he doesn't want to let what probably is his last chance to stay in the NHL slip by. He hadn't been able to get into the NHL for awhile, Campbell faltering gave him a chance. He's 31 and a UFA at the end of this season. If he wants another NHL contract next year, this is probably his last shot and he's playing like it. I like betting on the hungry player, I hope he keeps it going.
Numbers wise, I think it's hard to say he isn't giving the Oilers exactly what you want from your back up. A back ups job is to give his team a chance to win. Typically back ups get the second game of a back to back where the team maybe aren't at their best. I can't think of a game where I thought he lost them the game. A few of his starts, he was the reason they won. 14 games so far. 9-4, 2.27 GA, .919. He has 1 shut out, should be 2 but he didn't get credit last night because the spotter made him leave for 2 mins. I am not sure what else a team could want from their back up.

Johnny Cage decent too with his split punch

I was more a Scorpion guy; never played as Smoke. I don't play video games anymore but now Sub-Zero is my fave MK character. I can't wait to see how the new movie turns out!
