Maybe its just me but I would like to see Brown playing ahead of Perry just for speed. Maybe the opportunity for him to start going.

You're more optimistic about Brown than I am. I don't think there's much to get going there any more.
I didn't miss Janmark at all last game with Gagner in. I imagine the SHGs against might have convinced the coach he needed more PK guys though, although the goals against happened so fast, I don't think you can blame it on not having Janmark in the lineup.
The team may not love the idea of two ancient slow guys in the bottom six, but both are generally smart players who don't cost you a lot.

Maybe, just for a game, lets try NOT playing Brown and see how that goes. Gagner did just fine.

If we lose, we already know why
Oilers record when Brown plays: 28-15-1. Almost 2:1 win/loss ratio. Without brown 4-3-0. Basically a .500 team

I expect a better PK tonight than last.. Janmark can't put a puck in the ocean but he can block shots.. good PK'er.. same for Brown.. Maybe that's where Brown finally gets his goal.. on the PK? lol!
Holloway gets a start top 6.. his skating/speed will help the forecheck on that line.. could cause turnovers/chances in the O-zone.. if it doesn't pan out expect Perry back up..
McLeod needs to find a gear.. his transmission has been stuck in neutral for a few games now.. he was doing well..

I think how McLeod is right now is just how he is. If you look at his games logs. He will score a bunch of goals and points in a very short span, then go quiet for long stretches.

That's just consistency.. which is mental.. he's shown he has the physical talent and skill.. Coffey had him hypnotized for a stretch.. time for another mind-meld! đź‘˝

Brown gets in game in game out under the disguise of “he’s a great PKer” when it’s really just management afraid to show that they made a mistake.
Surely out of Gagner, and everyone in Bakersfield, there is a better 4th line that can score once in a while.
Clean house or bust

Nuge ties Messier for 3rd all-time in games played as an Oiler with 851. Trails only Smyth (971) and Lowe (1,037).
Worth noting, while talking about games played, as soon as Oscar Klefbom officially retires, he will break the record for most games spent only in an Oilers uniform. He played 378 games for the Oilers, shattering Jaroslav Pouzar's record of 186. Pouzar held that record for an incredible 33 years though.
