That's a goal every fan base would say was weak but they're so sweet when your team scores them.

Big guy like Skinner still has a hole big enough for a puck pretty much shot at his mass to get through. 1-1.

It is amazing how different perception (my eyes) and reality can be.
I would have bet the Oilers were one of the slower starting teams in the league. I am pretty sure they have said during the broadcast;
- Oilers are 1st in early (1st 2 mins) goals with 6
- lead the league in 1st period goals
- highly ranked in first period leads (I missed the exact ranking)

23/24 cap hit Brown might end up with the exact same amount of goals as 24/25 cap hit Brown.

Jack didn't just predict the short handed goal, he told us who was going to score it. Skinner just can't make the big save.

You get Skinner moving laterally, you score. You flip it at him, it goes through.

Both LD signature powerplay go-tos were read. It's like there was nothing else. Half the guys looked ill tonight.
This team can't take any time off. They will lose every game they don't come to work. Every one.

Play against a stick checking counter attack team and we decide to just lazy pass all night.

We even do it to ourselves. Konovalov 1.93 GAA and 0.922 in the KHL. No space for him around here though.
Don't think we actually know what happened with Konovalov. Just more lazy Oilers management? Just being nice letting him go because we figure we were set for years with Campbell and Skinner and we would never need him?

Sign me as your agent, I'll get you into the building. I'll need to borrow a couple bucks for tickets.

Both sides just seemed happy to go their separate ways. No clue what happened. I mean, this organization hasn't had a lot of Russians succeed here in a lot of years. Maybe the McLellan biases just stuck here?
Of course, kid may have just been homesick too but given the track record with young European prospects who aren't immediately stars you definitely have to wonder.

EK can't make a pass, just can't. I didn't see Draisaitl make any, really. Nuge to Bouchard on the PP ends up a lead pass for a SHGA. Pitiful.
