Mostly with you on this one. They look like practice jerseys on the ice. That, along with my least favorite Oilers logo, makes it a pass for me.

Sounds like he’s just holding a spot for Benson. I’m hoping Benson turns into a 3rd line agitator. A far cry from his high skill Junior days, but do what you need to, to cash NHL cheques.

Unfortunately.. it was over.. the rest of the Oilers went quiet as a church mouse.. except for McDavid.. forced to go after Edler himself..
The Oilers haven't had a hard team since 2006..

I'm honestly really surprised with how not impressed I am with this squad this year. I thought they (everyone, including Woodcroft) were going to come out and grab the league by the throat this season... and they've been outplayed in wayyy too many games. Many players have not been good enough. Way too many passengers, and big money passengers at that.
Not an impressive team at all, so far.
