Very nice win against a hot Pittsburgh team.

Hope McDavid is alright.

Very nice win against a hot Pittsburgh team.

Hope McDavid is alright.

Still the most minutes of any forward, despite going down the hall briefly.

You would have to think it’s pretty tender though. Likely a massive bruise in a day.

Lots of Nurse talk today. Like most of the team he had a couple issues in the 1st but he was very good for most of the game.

Bouchard had a VERY good game today.

Last 40 mins were among the best of the year. Team still needs to figure out how to start the game on time.

Just got back from my honeymoon, so this is the first game I got to watch. Lots of Nurse hate in that other thread.

I’ve never been a fanboy of his, but he was pretty damned good tonight. Everyone was terrible in the first, but after that he looked really good.

I don’t think anyone here thinks he is or will ever be a bargain at over $9M, but he is a solid contributor to this team’s success.

And Bouchard is going to be expensive very soon.

Missed the 1st because I thought 7pm start, but glad about that. Through the last 2 periods, that was closer to peak Oilers pretty much than we've seen this year.

Good move apparently after Connor got banged up to switch centers up on the top 2 lines.

Kane with a team record I think for SOG in a period. 2nd intermission I think they said he had 11 shot attempts. That's what he's on the team for, they're going to go in.

Bounceback games I thought for LD and Kulak. Nurse made some plays. I like Nuge's play, more assertive. Hyman has been consistent pretty much every game, how can you not love him as a fan?

Hope its just a bruise for Connor.

I think I might start doing this on purpose. The first is rarely fun to watch. My overall enjoyment of the game would be much higher.

I know, right? Has there been a good P1 this year? One maybe.

Quite a 2nd period. Down 3-1, McDavid almost gets crippled. Then we just take the game over.

Pens are a nice matchup for our team. They suck at defending :) Wish we could see McDavid vs Crosby more often, always wild nights. And screw that Rakell guy, tired of him.

New job has perks. I’m in town a lot more. Great game to be at, and love watching the opposing fans walk away sad and grumbling about being ticket raped.

Nurse was atrocious and then settled in nicely. Broke up some dangerous plays and was active all night. Shore/Ryan played well. Glad Ryan got in on that last goal.

Not very often the Oilers score 6 and McD in a little under 20 mins doesn't score a point. Good win against a tough team. Hopefully it sets the table for a good road trip.
