Well that was one of the worst anthem performances I've heard in a while. Quit trying to turn the anthem into a pop song and just sing it. I've all for creativity when it comes to covers of songs, but not anthems.

Odd take. Outside of Drai, JP has performed better than any other Oiler on McDavid's wing. I am not talking about putting up points as the only measure but playing good hcokey.
He opens up the ice and gets to open space on almost every single play. No one is going to shoot 100% but the kid is playing playing fantastic hockey this season.
The aforementioned ability to open up the ice helps give McDavid more space to be creative.
His forechecking and defensive zone work has grown leaps and bounds which can't be unnoticed on that line.
A good leader, which I think Mcdavid is, should be going to him even more to break the bubble, not hoarding the puck.

I agree. A couple of really good saves by Koski and overall the Oilers dominated that period.

Elliotte not being done any favours with the weird, vomit inducing camera work. He's got the full solar panel on the back of his head.

The literal round table is a very weird concept for intermission coverage. It's not good.

Yeah I was going mention that, poor Friedman gets the back of the head camera view when he's the only one of the 4 with the bald spot.. then gets a the close up rover cam view added on top of it :) I expect he changes spots in coming intermissions.

What's disturbing to me is that this game is going to come down to goaltending.
.....but on the other hand it might come down to the Oilers PP. Nuge with 10 helpers this year? Nice start, and he should have 3 or 4 goals as well.

Def the pp, so far. But the puck stoppers have both been pretty solid 5v5

I love music and live shows. I would hate to see the total tab spent on the hobby in my life. I bring this up as a few times I have had to separate the artist from the art. There are some I simply wont support financially, like you cancelling your Keith jersey, but I still enjoy the songs.
I feel like you are allowed to be upset with how Keith handled things and still support him as a member of your favorite team.

Keith is hitting his stride, great composure, quick, great puck mover .. Ceci playing strong as well.. good pair.

Koski for Vezina!! Oh Yeah!! .. deserved a SO.. I can't believe anyone ever doubted the guy! ;)

McD was snake bit.. his whole line.. so so many 5v5 chances, total domination, no goals.. expect him to take it out on Seattle.

Yamo better but still struggling to make plays happen.

Barrie looked stronger defensively

Sucks that Koski couldn’t get the SO given how well he played tonight. Oh well, a win is still a win.

All refs had to do was call the blatant cross-check that let the Canucks get possession. Bummer
