Correction - the NHL gave Tim Peel paid vacation for the last 6 weeks of his career.

Let's be clear - the only thing the NHL thinks Peel got wrong was that he was caught on camera saying it. They think that games should be kept close by balancing powerplays and allowing people to clutch, grab, and otherwise interfere with the star players.

And also on Kassian, apparently.

See, I told you all season long Ottawa is a joke. I’m only sad McDavid and Draisaitl didn’t get more points tonight.

Why do they keep saying that the Flames game on Saturday is a make-up game??

So is that an NHL record for best single season record against a single team?

No mention on the broadcast? I missed the last 2 periods.

I did see that we beat the Jets 8 times 2 times in a season in the 80's, so should be a team record at least.

Playing the same team 9 times though to even have a chance to do this. Must go back to the original 6 at the earliest.

First since 1955-56 to do it.

You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you just might find, you can get a lottery pick.

Wowzers. Further back than a Leafs cup win.

Impressive!

I actually didn't think they would win this one as it's really hard to beat a team that many times in a row but they did it. Good on them.

I would take that Connor Brown kid off their hands.

The Sens remind me a lot of the Oilers circa 2010-2014.

Good news

"Koekkoek is ahead of schedule and might be available for some games at the end of the season." Holland

need him available ASAP. If we have some D injuries we would be in danger of Bouchard having to play.
