What brain farts by the Nuge & Nurse in the third period.....thankfully...Stuztle had an even bigger one passing up an easy goal to showboat without the reward.

I LIKE HOCKEY, HOCKEY GOOD.

Needed a game like that, Oilers haven’t been too bad lately but the games haven’t been the usual fun self.

Ottawa is just what I needed.

Man imagine being a Tkachuk and your thoughts on the Oilers, daddy Keith probably stuffing his face with hot dogs to cope with these constant ownage.

"Bah Gawd! Would somebody stop the damn draft!"

Appeared to be some beaking going on between 29 and someone on the Sens side after the EN was ruled valid.

Could be interesting tomorrow. Leon might be up for that one. Heh..

Didn't see or hear the game but like the outcome. What a dumb start time for a Wednesday game.

Washington has 8 in a row vs the Devils this year too. But they don't get a 9th game.

Let's get our obscure record mojo going with 9 in a row on Ottawa!

Missed most of the game tuned in at 10 minutes left in the 3rd at 2-2.. enough time to be not impressed by Bear, and saw the Steve Smith move by C. Jones on the high lights... might be time for Bouchard and Lagesson tomorrow

Jones has been a failure this year. Expected a lot from him and he's delivered a D, maybe C season.

Bear is definitely in a slump year as well. Just not confident with the puck... really, really bad positioning and play reads. He was bound to have a regression year and this is that year.

Secondary forward scoring is starting to become a serious problem with this team, yet again. How is this possible?

10pm game starts are quite fun and easy to watch!!!!!

The McDrai show was made all the more enjoyable by the TSN commentary duo, constantly telling everyone that the two of them may have feasted on the Sens all season, but had only scored 3 points in Ottawa. Well, they scored more than the total in previous games in one and they soon shut up about that.

I wonder what they'll have to talk about tonight?

It wasn't a cup winning performance, but we did enough and I don't think we played hard enough to take too much out of the tank for tonight's game, which is good news.

Koskinen looked like a decent goalie tonight and the Sens are going to be a mean team. I wish the Oil had more of that angry attitude.

Draisaitl and McDavid put in a show. It was fun to watch.

They got it done. Sens came out freaking hard but the Oilers were the better team and they pulled it out again. The fact they have beat the Sens 8 times in a row is pretty incredible. Yes the Oilers are a better team talent wise but to never have the Sens goalie even though they aren't that good, play out of his mind for 1 game because it does happen. The Sens have done it against the Leafs a few times. Or the Oilers just get unlucky 1 game because they happen as well. 1 more to go.

Leon and McD were incredible.

I thought Koskinen was excellent. He made some BIG saves especially late in the game.

That Nuge line, I don't think you can play it in the playoffs. Just too small. They got pushed around a bit, didn't generate much. I don't think you can run those 3 together in the playoffs. Kahun doesn't seem to be able to do anything unless Leon is setting him up. Yamo DRILLED a guy. I can only imagine what would have happened to that guy if Yamo wasn't so small.

The defense was just meh. I don't know what the deal with Jones is but he's playing himself off the team. He wasn't totally brutal last night but he wasn't very good. If you can't look good against a bottom feeder team even though they do try hard, when will you ever. I don't like the Jones - Bear pairing.

I think Barrie is banged up. He did take several nasty hits, falls, kicks to the face last week. So how could he not be.
