Somebody said we are 5-2 in best of five series and that all our wins have been 3-0
You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you just might find, you can get a lottery pick.

So you’re saying it is a MUST WIN!!!? The MWTrain is always accepting more riders, we take special steps for social distancing as we have an endless supply of train cars.
Gregor’s been pounding that drum all week, saying teams who lost game 1 in a 5 game series had won only 12.5% of series. He also pointed out that 12.5% is the chance the 8 losers of the qualifying series have of winning the draft lottery.

Game 1 takes on added importance in the short series, so this is the must-iest of wins.

Quote: | Looking back at the seven-year history of five-game series, it is apparent that winning game one greatly increases your chances of winning the series. Of those 56 five-game series, the teams who won game one went 49-7. A whopping 87.5% of game one winners won their series.

So yeah, this is a huge MUST WIN.
"Bah Gawd! Would somebody stop the damn draft!"

I'm pretty pumped, but I am jumping on a plane home soon. So I will have to watch this one tape-delayed.
Has the starter been named yet? Do we know lines?

It is my youngest sons birthday so the b'day lunch and shopping trip was a little warm for us in matching jersey's but we were too excited to let the heat hold us back. Oddly enough the first time I have worn a jersey in public outside of attending a game in years. I am THAT excited for hockey to be back!
Must win, all the must, be the must, one with the must!

Oilers, Hockey, Beer, Curry a perfect Saturday evening. 8pm start here, so with 15 mins to go, time to dig out the Oilers jersey, and get the fun stated.. Can't say that the opening game was great, but it's great to have hockey back.
Take me home, country road
to the place where I belong
to Alberta, to see the Oilers
take me home, country road

Gene wins for best Covid flow. In fairness he has a permanent head start on the rest of the world.
