I think they will be in tough tonight. The first game back after a road trip is often a snoozefest. It would be nice if the Oilers can prove they can bounce back after a loss.

I don't see any official word on the starter, but my guess would be Koskinen.

Flames got E77iot last night, so the Oilers will get the good goalie.

It's all good. We always play worse against backups anyways.

Be nice to get some bottom six scoring tonight. The puck possession game is coming along, but it's time for some results.

When the hell did this happen, when he was stepping off the plane?

Huh. The only hit I remember was the one laid on Persson in the 2nd, arguably the biggest one of the game.

Surprised Haas isn't back in over Granlund. Haas Cartright hasn't looked too bad actually..
I don't see Chaisson getting anything done with RNH and Neal.

Chiasson's shot rates are the best of the rest so far. Part of that is because he's got more of a push, but still, it's an indication he's more likely to get something done.

I wonder how many more games before we see an airlift from Bakersfield. Whether Gagner, Marody, Benson, or Yamamoto, we may need to see some guys shuffled in and out soon if the bottom six doesn't start at least creating chances.

I don't really understand the love for Haas. He's got one shot and figured on one really nice play where he got his assist, but he hasn't been threatening at all. He hasn't been a big liability either, and he sure hasn't got a lot of icetime to prove what he can do, but still...1 shot in over 30 minutes of ice-time is not going to generate much.

My score prediction indicates to me that I’m still a pessimist with this club.

It’s not the first time this season, and I’ve been burned for it.

I’m working on it..
