The out of town scoreboard was dandy last night for the Oilers who look to keep their WC hopes alive and end their current 5 game losing streak tonight.

Haven’t heard any word who gets the start in net. Would guess they go Koskinen.

Look for Drake to have a solid game in his return to Rogers. Ex-Oiler and all guarantees him a meaningful game and a likely goal.

Nuge is reunited with Puljujarvi after the BHawks get an early 2-0 lead an the pair get the Oilers on top with 3 goals between the two of them. #BoldPrognostication

Is anyone picking an Oilers lead into the third then a fail and an OTL?

All signs are pointing to him being ‘ready’, whatever it means with him being limited will yet to be seen though Hitchcock has said Nurse will continue to ‘anchor’ the PP1 while Klefbom will get PP2 time.

RNH given arguably the best winger combo. That's probably the best way to maximize this group.

If Todd was still here we’d likely see two LWs with Connor in an attempt to get them both going offensively (Lucic and Rieder) though I think Rieder can play RW, no?

I can't believe those are the best 8 wingers a real NHL team can put on the ice.

Hopefully the Oilers ( Talbot ) can be good enough tonight that they aren't down two goals early ( after the first shot goes in, with both goals scored by Cagulla ) to cause Hitchcock to panic and revert to the dynamic duo as usual when it starts coming off the rails. If Manning is ever going to show much, this is the game.

Except Manning is slated to be in the PB for the game. So unless he plans on dropping a cosmic-level peoples elbow from up there, he’ll have zero impact tonight.

Right! Making room for Klefbom. I think I'd rather have Klefbom.

Just friggin send him down already. There is a bouquet of players down there that can play 4th line wing on this team.

They sent Yamamoto down. With this organization, 1 good move allows 3 dumb moves to follow.

Really hoping Yamamoto doesn’t get 5 points in 3 games or something. Would mean another unnecessary knee jerk recall. Must sell hope every week.

Actually Yamo is struggling down there in Bakersfield, not impressive at all, he is definitely not ready for the NHL, he needs another year down there, and HOPE he progresses while down there. I'm hoping he's not another 1st round bust.

The Oilers didn't have a good weekend results wise but I believe the spreading of the centres down 3 lines gives the Oilers a better chance of winning. Also good to see less line juggling, need to get some sort of chemistry.

Welcome back Oscar! MUST WIN. MOGA.

Hawks win 7-1.

So we need to get as many points in every game from here on out so logic would say we need the best goaltending we can get on a nightly basis and yet are we starting the guy we just gave a 3 year extension to at a fairly high number? Nope, we start ol first shot Talbs

Draisatl has to squeeze something out of that line, or at least don't be a minus on the night.

If Drai has less than 3 intercepted backhand sauce passes and less than 3 getting the puck stripped from him then I call it a good day for. But he gets points so we shouldn't care right.

We didn’t even get this amount of pregame chatter for the last BoA! Klefbom is BACK and the Oilfan faithful have come back to the wagon!!

Too bad we’ll still miss the playoffs.

Using advanced analytics I've determined that if the Oilers continue having the winning percentage of Hitchcock with Kelfbom in the lineup pro-rated until the end of the regular season, they make the Playoffs.

So either get off now or get on! This is the last chance.

Only three points back! The mighty mighty Oilers held ground during a tough eastern road trip. Now is the time, the time is now.

Manning scratched. Bahahaha.

I hear Hitch really likes him though. But it’s really tough to squeeze him into this deep D corps every night. Sometimes less is more Hitch. One of these days he’s going to let out a catch phrase that will dwarf “there’s something in the water.”

These clowns either sat back and allowed that Manning transaction or were in on it. I hope Drake has a 3 pointer tonight.

Idiots..

Manning, Petrovic, Spooner all out? 2.25M+1.9M+3.1M = 7.25M of useless. Chia is probably still getting paychecks and having a laugh.
