Hurray to Chiasson for pulling out the SO winner....!

Hate losing to the Canucks. Made for a nail biter.

You had to think Yamamoto was going to shoot next.

Koskinen was HUGE. I know the guy is a monster, stature wise, but dude has looked really good.

Vancouver looked like the better team throughout most of it.

OT, unless it’s a game with Anaheim who just hold the puck till Connor changes, is always exciting but that was one of the more entertaining ones I’ve seen recently.

Alex Letession with the shootout winner!!

Yuge 2 points.

We’re on the the Flames.

Moved to within 1/2 game of Avs, Stars, and Wild plus increased the gap to the teams behind us. Pretty good night.

McDavid is 3rd in the league in scoring, and quietly, he's pulled in to a 3-way tie for third in goals too, only 4 back of Ovechkin...

Oh, and the Oilers are tied with Minnesota for the last playoff spot (although I think we lose the tie breakers).

And we didn't lose to Vancouver - so all in all, a good night.

EDIT: 4th in points. Stupid Johnny Hockey had a 2 point night...SIGH.

Always gonna be harder for McDavid.

Primary Points:

McDavid 58
Kucherov 56
Gaudreau 56
Kane 53
MacKinnon 52
Rantanen 51

Too bad for McDavid absolutely everything must go through him. There is no being the 3rd last guy touching and 2 other guys doing something amazing together to get him a 2nd assist, which Kucherov and Rantanen have been enjoying this year.

Not an overwhelming win but a win nonetheless. Koskinen huge in extra time and the SO.

No to Manning and Benning in over Gravel. Just no.

Sets up a big game for the Oilers Saturday night. I want a hurt on the Flames, and I want Jockey to be in near tears, if not tears.

Manning looked REALLY bad on that last play in regulation. Just got turnstiled. He's that rare breed of player that looks awful by all the stats categories, and the eye test too. But you know, maybe he gets a lucky hit in on someone again sometime...

Speaking of numbers, the obsession with hit stats was a bit much on the Oilers broadcast tonight...apparently we can dominate both hits AND blocked shots this year...strangely, that has not translated to more wins...

Holy hell that was an exciting, nerve racking, all over the map emotionally game. That 3 on 3 was INSANE!!! I would have liked them to win it in regulation but I will take the 2 pts. I didn't think Koskinen was all that great on the first goal but man he was good in the 3rd, OT and the shoot out. Jones had himself a rough game. I have really liked most of his game and I think they have something in this guy but he may want to stop passing the puck from behind his net on the tape to the opposition who are standing all alone 15 ft from your goal. Just a tip.

Yeah, that was a fun game to watch.

Really enjoyed it. Thank-you Oilers for producing something good!

Definitely doesn't seem like a bad seed.

Tried staying awake, but fell asleep after the 1st. 11pm start times suck when I have to get up for work at 6. Caught this highlights this morning. Sounds like I missed a heck of an OT.

OT was very good from a fans perspective Wednesday night. Back and forth, trading great chances on either end with both goalies playing phenomenal.
