I remember when Miami came into the league and everyone truly believed having access to Blockbuster's marketing genius would be a great asset for the NHL as a whole.

Watching Luongo makes me jealous of teams with real goalies.

The ice is slow and horrible. Puck is bouncing like a tennis ball at times.

Nuge and Reider with a great play to negate it.

I do appreciate the fight to break up the monotony of a boring game.

Ugh Nuge, you gotta cover your guy.

Nuge is BY FAR, BY A MILE, the best defensive forward on this club. No one is in the same breath.

My theory is that the players all want Quenneville :)

Alternate theory: the players aren't that good and their early season hot streak was built on good fortune, early season doldrums, and unsustainable play from one guy.
Third theory: 3 road games in 4 nights caught up with them. 8-7-1 isn't a bad record.

The effort in our end is total crap though. Nothing like earlier this season. This is a pretty damn bad team to make look like the globetrotters in your own zone.
Sticking my theory. Players see a way to get rid of McLellan :)

They want to play for Joel. I'd like to see them play for Joel. TMac needs to go.

Another theory: the blender has destroyed any chemistry they had earlier in the season. Benning, Strome, Talbot, Lucic- all looking like last year's players. Chiasson not playing much? Is he hurt?

I feel like they played well against Wash but got terrible goaltending
Against tampa they came out hard but Tampa's goalie stoled it eary then Tampa jumped on us
Tonight seems be much the same as Tampa - damn real goalies

Maybe Florida wants to move Lou. Won’t happen. No one wants 3 more years of his contract and he’s a high cap hit, low salary player for the Panthers.
Just watching him steal this game makes me long for Rollie. Be a great story if he could bring a Cup to Edmonton when he couldn’t with the Canucks.

Brutal officiating tonight. No surprise one of the refs was also on duty in Tampa on Tues.

I’m guessing Rattie wants out of Florida State right away. He should have 3 goals in two games. Robbery.

Ahhh, nice example of the head trajectory techniques Dustin Shwartz is teaching our goalies.

After the goaltending performances against us these last few games, that Talbot effort on the 3rd goal is pretty hard to swallow. Guy just has no fire in his belly. He's just a table hockey goalie these days, being played by a guy with an injured wrist that can only make 1 movement every 5 seconds.
His sav% is now at the level of a guy that MacT blamed for an entire lost season and traded him for a cap dump.

Hey Talbot big save. Although I think Barkov put it right into this chest and missed 3 ft of open net.
And epic Lucic highlight package. 2 hits on a plug, 1 of them shown again and again from multiple angles.
