The Oilers dominated zone time but they just passed it around looking for the perfect play. First chance the ducks get and they throw it on net and get a lucky one.

Lucky bounce goal. Top corner one timer. Feels not meant to be right now. Better score the next one.

I’m not even mad…this team ain’t winning the Cup this year.

I’ll still cheer for them to win all the time, but unless the ratchet it up several notches, this team is not getting by Colorado or Minnesota.

2-1!!

Thats what they decide to call? lol it's such a joke that we are supposed to pretend like the penalties have something to do with the play on the ice. You can't be "disciplined" when they will just call something like that.

It's true. But goalies are supposed to make saves. That was always the argument with Skinner too. Not saying the score is ingrams fault but you need big saves confused2

I'm trying to grasp at straws here, but we look like we've been trying to conserve energy in this period, unlike the previous 5 first periods when we've bolted out of the gate.

We need to go back to period one of game 5 and pepper the Ducks goal with people around it, of the few attempts so far it's been clear in front. Of course when presented with a grade A chance finish it and not hit the bar from 6 ft out.

Skinner would let nothing shots through his legs for no good reason. Or
Moving his glove out of the way of a puck that was about to go right into it. He would quit trying to see around traffic and just collapse if he heard a loud bang. Difference between fluke deflection goals and ones that skinner would let in when he was in depression mode.

Getting the crazy bad luck with assists from the refs and nurse. Which happens, but we put ourself in a spot where it’s season ending if it does too much.

Gotta hope things turn next period I guess.

If we have had the same guy in charge of the pk these last 2 seasons everyone in this org should be fired. Inexcusable trash and keeps getting worse. Is it Stuart? Dude should have been fired into the sun last season if he was doing the pk.

2 of those were not on Ingram. It's rotten puck luck but that happens. Oilers were clearly the better team nost of that period.

That's too true.. wasn't a "hold".. that was imagined by the ref.. he wanted to give Ducks a PP and he just did it.. that said.. our PK is is so bad.. can't pressure the points because we are too slow and small.. I think Savoie is done as a PK'er.. no reach.. and Nurse.. how many shots go past him into the net.. block it you flamingo 🦩

they are letting that Viel guy run around the entire series and they have nothing to say about it.

It's the biggest difference IMO between this years team and the last few that made deep runs. Those teams had Perry and Kane. This one has nothing like that.
