To be fair for Regula.. he's essentially a rookie and hasn't played hockey for over a year.. does anyone play well with Nurse? .. 25 is a bit of a handicap to have to overcome as youre learning the NHL game..
.. and then Nurse gets thrown down by Hathaway.. great moral boost bud.

McDavid is the antidote to the poison which is the Oiler bottom 6 and a weak knee defence.
He's going to feel so good when he plays with a full team of real NHL players at the Olympics.. hopefully not "too" good..

People are taking a dump on the D in the comments here, but Drai shouldn't be immune from this. Outside of his PP hat trick game, he's looked pretty bad for a while. The last two games in particular have been truly horrific.

What a scruffy game this is, they've took the chances, but you can't say either side are playing "well". A good save from Pickard on the wrap around, but we shouldn't be giving up chances that easily.

True.. he needs to be better.. play smarter.. but he's proven he's much better than that.. for long periods.. so this stretch will be temporary..some of the D have proven by now its not temporary.. its more of a base characteristic..
