He has been bad all year but completely horrible in the playoffs. Like unplayable and yet he continues to get in the lineup.

Have to go back and watch but the second goal I thought was definitely a turnover by Bouchard?
Would like to see Skinner have that second goal, but it is what it is.
Offense also needs to do something. Dead last game and still can't score this game.

They've stiffled the threat of McDrai for the most of the series and it's killed us. The depth could only take us so far, when it mattered the most they've not been able to take us that next step so far tonight and in the last few games.
The willingness and desire seems to be there tonight, but it's not enough so far.

2 Bouch turnovers 2 goals against. Yeah, Ek was probably the goat on both, but we just cannot have our supposed 1st pair D making those turnovers, then getting walked on the recovery.

McDrai have been outscored 5-1 during the series and were on the ice for both goals tonight. It's easy and lazy to play them together when desperate, but this series it's been a disaster

Well, it's been a slice. Thanks for the season, team.
Honestly, never thought these guys had the right mix to make it work... so sort of surprised that they made it this far. Super up and down season, however that seems to be the McDraiBouchDarnell MO. All the drama, all the difficulty that they can add... they do.
Hope this isn't an indication that we're in Joe Thornton territory for our stars, but it's starting to feel that way. They just can't play D well enough or commit to a game plan enough, to see something through.
Anyways, see you next year.
