Bring on the playoffs - but by the looks of it, it's going to be up to 97 and ...28 to carry them icon_rolleyes

Joke all you want, the oilers win percentage when Connor Brown gets an empty netter is out of this world.

And he's the only one who can actually score on empty nets.

Love it. The place goes nuts for our empty net goal. We’ve been so snake bitten with the empty cage.

Love having McDavid back. He looks so good. 2 games and 7 points! Healthy …. Everyone else? Feels like the twilight season. Did last years deep run kill us? Panther’s have been no better.

If we can get healthy for playoffs we are a dangerous team.

The question is. Can we get healthy. Man oh man are we hurting

Knobloch saying one of Hyman and Ekholm could miss the start of the playoffs. Oh, bleep.

Damn. Really getting worried about Ekholm now.

Second player in a week that we had come back from injury and had to quickly pull out of a game. Katz cut some costs with our medical staff?

Might be as bad as feared

Ryan Rishaug @TSNRyanRishaug

Tough news for Oilers and Ekholm. Hearing there are further tests to be done, but it’s believed to be a serious injury that worst case scenario may end his season, best case scenario will keep him sidelined for quite some time.

Looking like last season is the one we needed some balls to LTIR Kane and actually fill holes at the deadline. Slacking off and taking McDrai for granted still got us an inch from the cup, but having garbage management stayed as the ultimate roadblock that still caught us in the end. Now we enter an age of our top guys getting older and more likely to be injured.

Well .. that puts a knife in Oiler's chances.. #1 D-man down.. could be season ending.. fk..
Must have limited him for a large part of the season.. explains why he was not his normal dominating self..
So weird.. he was practicing full speed and no problems .. plays a couple shifts and wrecks himself.. same as Frederick.. practices full speed.. then done in 3 seconds. I'm suddenly not optimistic about Kane's chances.

I realize that 80%-90% of injury recovery (outside of surgery) is our body natural healing cycle… but good lord what is with the Oilers carting out underbaked bodies just to have them collapse first shift out.

Looked like Achilles for ekholm. He's done.
Sure glad they didn't overpay for broberg. Really showed him.

We need Souray to come back to rip in to the team's medical staff and management. Just incredible to have three players come back in the last couple of weeks and then shortly thereafter go right back on the shelf having reaggravated their injuries.
