...no shame on OTTAWA. They aren't the pushovers they were to start the year. They didn't have any puck luck.
...I might have given SKINNER a star.
Off to xmas break 2nd in the PACIFIC at this point.
...this time, it's for real (isn't it?).

Nice W.
Merry Xmas, or happy holidays people. Time to tune into some football and WJC.

100% of Oilfans predicted this win. Geniuses.
"We need to get better immediately. That starts today"
- Lowe, 2013
"Next year I would forecast as another developmental year"
- MacT, 2015

A win's a win, but my goodness they were so loose and sloppy. At times it felt like they'd never played together as a team before. Better to get them sort of games out of the way now than way down the line when each game has more meaning.
Take me home, country road
to the place where I belong
to Alberta, to see the Oilers
take me home, country road

I'm been hard on him this year, but Skinner really held down the fort in this one. Good rebound control, seemingly always in position. Credit where credit is due.
Second in the division is a nice place to be going into the holiday break.
Merry Christmas all!
