That was a cheap shot by Hartman, directing/shouldering a guy from behind at high speed into a goal post..

This team is almost completely reliant on 3 players who are remarkably durable and resilient. But anything can happen and that didn't look good at all for Bouchard...This team is perennially 1 ill timed injury away from their cup chances going out the window. Hopefully this wasn't it but knee injuries can be worse than they look at first sometimes.

Zero defensive depth but at least they have Victor Arvidson..at least I think he's on the team. His cap hit sure is. confused2

That's the unfortunate thing with teams with the top plays in the league. Any player that gets hurt and the team can drastically struggle. Lucky for us as long as Drai and McD stay healthy we are looking good. They are the hottest players in the league right now. Also both our goalies have been superb in net as well. I'm not too worried. Hopefully it's nothing serious, but I expect the oilers will keep playing tight good hockey. We have vegas and Florida coming up. Having significant injuries against either of them is concerning however.

Whew!

Evan Bouchard’s injury is “nothing major,” says Knoblauch.

He’s 50/50 for tomorrow and listed as a game-time decision. #Oilers

Lucky. Honestly looked like he was close to breaking a collarbone on the post. Maybe tweaked his leg instead with the awkward fall.
