You know what makes this win so freaking special, we did it without any McMagic or and McDavid points, we didn't need the magic one to produce the team did. That's huge right now, really big.

I am so, so excited to see that hit ONE again. It's been a long time coming.
Incredible comeback. Team should enjoy this briefly...and then we have a job to finish. It won't be easy - we finally have that same pressure that Florida's been dealing with - but I think we still have another gear yet, and Bob is broken. He's fragile now and if we can touch him again early, we might be able to score in bunches.

All the way from Canberra Australia... I remember going to games with my granddad during the mid eighties as a young kid from Northern Alberta. Grew up loving the Oilers and I still bleed Orange, Blue, and White. Just ask my Australian wife. BELIEVE boys... this is different to '06. Florida is absolutely rattled!

This is 1st time in Connor McDavid's career that the Oilers won a game he played in but didn't have a shot or a point. It had happened only 7 times before tonight (5 as a rookie in 2015-16, 3/31/18 vs Flames, 3/30/21 vs Canadiens)
I guess we lost all the 7 other times.

Oilers have played 3 games in a row this series facing elimination and responded well.
For the first time in the series the Panthers will be playing with their back against the wall. They are going to be ready on Monday in their barn. They have some great players that have not arrived.
I’m confident in the goaltending duel right now. I feel if the Oilers win the small battles and don’t stub their dicks on untimely dumb reads, they have a good chance.
