That McLeod, what a bum. We should have gotten rid of him weeks ago for salary cap relief. Can’t believe we’re still stuck with him. *end sarcasm*

Everybody likes to crap on Holland, but the Hyman, Kane, and Nuge contracts are ludicrously good.

Kane isn't great at all. Other than hitting, he hasn't done much consistently this year. Offence has been way down and defensively he's a liability. Other than his first couple months as an Oiler, he's on for more ES goals against than he has been on for.
I'll grant him Hyman and Nuge, even though neither was at any discount to market, especially Hyman's.
However, hard to praise too highly the guy who signed Connor Brown to that contract. Consider this - if his bonus was at 10 points instead of 10 games, then he's not on pace to hit it this year.
"Thinking that a bad team's best players are the reason the team is bad is the "Tambellini re-signing Lennart Petrell" of sports opinions." @Woodguy55

And I will continue to crap on Holland until he is gone.
His poor decisions far outweigh the good.
I’m not about to praise Chiarelli as an Oiler GM because of the Draisaitl contract for the same damn reason.
This GM is dangerously close to fouling up the Cup window with 2 generational superstars. And for a GM that was a former NHL goalie, my gawd what a mess it’s been between the pipes.
