Just what the Oilers need, 20 minutes of BS between pre-game skate and the game to cool them off.

It isn't ideal for any player but it is the same circumstances for the NYR so at least both teams are on a level playing field.
Gotta keep it positive NB!

You would think the NHL should set a time limit for these events so that every team is on the same page.

It used to be 30 mins. I am not sure if that is still a thing or not

Very true. Just joking around given there isn't much to be positive about these days, I am trying to find silver linings every where I can.

Why is Janmark getting the premium minutes? Because he takes backbreaking minor penalties 200 feet from his own net?

PBP just told us that he isn't on the bench so this problem might have solved itself. It does present a new one; losing ANY forward is a huge issue when you only dress 11

This is a disgraceful effort from Leon - a guy who people out of our market say is only good because of McDavid. We know it’s not true, he knows it’s not true, but somehow is playing just complete beer league hockey out there.

Janmark and Kane on the wings icon_dead

I'd probably put Foegele and Hyman with Drai now. They're wasted with Nuge. Nuge is just watching his wingers do stuff.

So Manson and/or Gully fired after they lose on Sunday, right? That seems like the deck chairs on the titanic move.

Teams will now start underestimating the Oilers. Hell, the Rangers put Quick in net instead of their starter. It’s begun.

Is Lafreniere good now? I had mentally written him off as a semi-bust.
