I don’t know who the replacement is, but this is all very interesting.
How is Keith Gretzky doing?
Clean house or bust

Was with Flyers for the last 8 years, Avs a dozen before that.
Haven't heard spectacular things about Flyers system, but Avs did good work finding kids.

looking at Philadelphia's trade history over the past few years, they trade away a LOT of AHL players in their deals. Maybe their scouting was really good and other GM's want their minor league talent!

Flyers had a few hits since 2015. Farabee at #14 was good. Cam York at #14 might end up decent. Frost #27, Noah Cates #137. Cart Hart #46 would be an Oiler for life with the Schwartz.
Never know how much a scout has really been contributing, but at the least I doubt we will miss Wright very much.

Wright's story with the Oilers is over, but a lot will be still wrote about his impact during his time here. Will his picks pan out? They did not immediately, but we had a coach who shy's away from playing kids, and a GM who likes to over-ripen his prospects.
Hard to draft a kid and get him into the lineup immediately if you are out of the top 10 with those barriers ahead of you.
Hopefully Pracey and Jackson see more value in amatuer scouting and employ some OHL scouts.

I heard Pracey is a OHL specialist, from Hamilton, speculation is that Staios might have had something to do with his hire.. at least we'll have some good OHL insight, one of the best, if not the best, junior leagues.

P. Chiarelli math.. T. Hall = A. Larsson, Yak= bag o'pucks (OK he got one right...) K. Russell = $4.1 M+NMC, G. Reinhart= M. Barzal + A. Beauvillier, J. Eberle = R. Spooner,
