Jesse has his feet moving tonight. He looks so much better as a play driver rather than a complimentary player. He can’t think the game on McDavid or Draisaitl’s level, and if he can then he doesn’t have the confidence to produce as a top 6.

That play is probably why he became an Oiler! We love chasing guys who made a vicious play against an Oiler. Brandon Manning came here for the same reasons and we know that worked out great. I'm sure that Virtanen once getting a hard pre-season hit on McDavid is what got him the ill-advised tryout this year. And you had to know when Edmundson got a major and put Hyman out for a game that he'd go way up in the eyes of Oilers management!
