Misses the puck, then lets Moores walk in front to tip the pass in. Complete defensive gaffe, that was.

I think the puck jumped over his stick. Regardless, it looked bad.

Speaking of looking bad, has Foegele done anything noteworthy at all this series? I like his hustle, but he just doesn't seem to be able to put anything together.

Hmm, I thought that 4-on-4 was supposed to favor the Oilers. Oh, and the Keith pairing is really doing a number on their +/- stats…

Holy eff...

Why is this such an Oilers thing? Could this team have shown up any less for this game?

Bouch and Keith are getting eaten alive in the first. No commitment, focus or urgency.

You'd think the Oilers have already won the series and are just playing for fun tonight. What a mess.

None of these guys playing anywhere near the baseline established. Anything at the net after the first couple minutes is from distance. Game called differently. Tough sledding vs the LA nonames after a top to bottom no-show so far and 2 nil deficit. Wake the hell up.

Must be the hangover from celebrating two consecutive playoff game wins since TMac was the coach.

Well, now that the Oilers took a nice long warmup skate, they might be ready to play in the 2nd period. Maybe this is their master plan: weather the Kings’ storm in the first and lull them into a false sense of security by spotting them the 2 goals…. icon_rolleyes

It jumped his stick, but then there was no urgency. He gave up on the play. If Bouchard goes hard to the net the back pass wouldn’t have been there.

That’s a December gaffe. Unacceptable in the playoffs. Lazy.

Came in too confident and relaxed, Kings take advantage early.

Good finish to period tho, finding groove. Hopefully they got the wake-up call that the Kings didn’t give up yet.

not happy either that another guy was able to join in to make it a 2 on 0. Where the 2 other oilers not near the boards?

Bouch probably should not have been that close to the boards, although that was his side of the ice. Just a mess all around. Guys on the boards were just making lazy half arsed plays leading to the battle and that puck popping out.

That was unexpected, not sure I've seen us perform that badly for some time. They haven't come out to play so far. If we can get going I have confidence in them, but we need to wake up real soon.
