Is it me or did it seem Koski was on his knees a ton last night?

Reminds me of joke a former manager told me.

With Stone and Pacioretty out now is the time to bank a cushion against a Vegas team they should be competing with for top sport in the division and home ice advantage in the second round. Should. Who knows if Vegas is actually decent this year.
Please do not feed the bears. Feeding the bears creates a dependent population unable to survive on their own. Bears.

WOW. I am pretty surprised the poll results are so skewed to Vegas. I thought it would be fairly even at least, maybe a slight edge to the Oilers.
Vegas is missing Tuch, Pacioretty and Stone, probably their 3 best forwards. Plus Janmark who's a decent top 9 guy. They are also missing Martinez, a pretty decent top 4 dman.
So if you take those 4 forwards out of the mix, they are pretty light up front. Not to mention their centers are still lousy.
I think the Oilers will win this game as it's a division game, Vegas has been tops in the division for a few years. Many people assume they will be the top team again and the Oilers usually raise their play to the better teams. Plus they usually played Vegas well. They also had an easy game last night, not one was overly taxed. I am not concerned about playing Koskinen back to back at all. He had a pretty easy game save the first 10 mins and he's played what 4 periods in 2 weeks? I don't think he is tired and travel isn't a factor here.
Plus I flat out do not think Vegas is as good. I think losing Fleury is a big loss. He did win the vesina last year.

after all, they did lose to the Canadiens in the playoffs.
You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you just might find, you can get a lottery pick.

Just win baby... at least this is more of a "real" team to test the OIL.
Hey, I'm kinda surprised that KEITH hasn't looked his age out there. Steady with few (if any) errors out there.
...this time, it's for real (isn't it?).

Odds of the Oilers having more power plays than Vegas? 20-1?
Early season still, but a big game nonetheless. How the D and the G hold up. Hope Hyman and Foegele continue to impress, and hope Connor continues his almost 3Pts/GM pace from his last 20 or so.
