McD kept skating away from the guy he was covering. Nurse kept covering up for him. Guy that scored did it as Connor was slowly stating over to him. Gotta cover his guy better than that.

For a big huge goalie, he often allows small goalie goals. It’s odd.

3 shots in 12 mins so far against this goalie that let in a straight on muffin 5-hole and we destroyed last time we played him. We really don't want to get over .500.

Old man Bouchard!!!

* looked like a JJ tip from my seats.

4th line still looks abysmal, but Khaira looks for real. Hope he can keep up the work ethic. Maybe it’s Ennis and Archibald that’s sparking 16?

Big lines are going to get fed their points tonight. Ottawa is collapsing in front of their net, but a post and big save has kept Draisaitl and McDavid off of the scoresheet.

This Ottawa team has shaken off whatever was hurting them last week, and playing much better. Oilers just need to win tonight and get out. I'm happy they don't face them again for a month.

Yup, you're right. Teams are exactly the same from game 1 to game 56 and can't gel or improve or get healthy or gain confidence as the season progresses. We should just start the playoffs now.

Nurse in the top ten d in scoring is a nice development.

If he can stay there, it would balance out his problems playing actual defence.

We wouldn’t go 56-0, but the team is pretty weak down the lineup. They are near the bottom in goals for and near the most on goals allowed. Some good young players but Ottawa is one of the worst teams in the league.
