Except for the OIL usually being "slump breakers"... I would like to be confident in a win here. Check

Mike Smith: no pressure. confused2

...this time, it's for real (isn't it?).

56/29/93 line looking good.

Smith? Not so much. Sure the dmen left Lazar untouched, but that 5 hole was open for business.

shame that Smith's balls need constant airing out or he might have been able to cover the bottom of the net there.

Pretty sure this is the first time in 4 seasons that Drai has centered Nuge on a line. The maybe 6 or 7 periods they played together without McDavid, Nuge was C.

They say 37 year old Smith has the physical fitness level of a 27 year old. Unfortunately he has the testes of 47 year old. They need more air as they drop.

Oh damn, looks like he pulled a nut again too. Time for one of those goalie "groin surgeries". Ball tightening and lift.

I guess Nurse and Russell wanted to see how a tipping drill works. Just stand on both sides of Reinhart all alone in front of Smith.

The team is tops in the league on the powerplay. Klefbom's scored 2-13-15 on the PP. That ties him for fourth in the league.

It ain't changing any time soon as long as they keep having success there.

If they were to change, it would likely be Nurse going up there, given that he had some success last year, or possibly Bouchard late in the season. Bear is unlikely to ever be the powerplay quarterback on this team based on who we have now, and who surrounds him in the prospect cluster.
