We should get Jake Allen and his 0.855 sav%.
85.5% is also the odds that he gets a shutout against us tonight.

Drai- McD- Gagner
Neal - Nuge - Kass
Jurco - Haas - Chiasson
Khaira - Cave - Russell.
Supposedly Nygard and Archibald were flying around the ice at practice and appear to be close. Granlund getting scratched again. I wonder when guys like Archibald, Nygard and Sheahan comes back, is Granlund put on waivers. He's been very disappointing.

Those 2 players are huge, we look at goals so much but we have seen the total team speed go down with these 2 injuries. More speed, more pucks not in the Oilers zone, even if they stay even on their shifts it sets up Drai and McDavid to work their magic.

Sheahan is also dead-weight. Nygard and Archibald could help, I'll agree.

I don't agree with you on Sheahan. If you want to say he's being played too high as the 3rd line center, then I agree with you. But he's not dead weight. He was brought in to be a bottom 6 guys, win some faceoffs and kill some penalties. He's done all that. The need him to chip in offensively just like several others in the top 6 but he's played a lot with Khaira and P. Russell. Up until lately, Khaira has been brutal and I don't think P. Russell is a full time NHLer.

I don't like Gagner on the top line, he looked bad playing with them last game and the puck died with him a lot. Rather try any of the other bottom 6 guys almost.

Well you might be one of the few who thinks that because the coach raved about Gagner playing well and so did other media types.
I for one do not think it's ideal he's up there. I don't think he is fast enough to be a full time NHLer but for a short stint, it's worth a try. He's got a good head for offense, has good hands and if he keeps it simple and let's McDavid and Leon do all the puck moving and just tries to find holes, it might work.

If they don’t have a burner on their line, I think the most important thing is they have a shooter that goes to the net. That’s, IMO, how Kassian worked so well with them.

Gonna get killed tonight unless the Oilers are ready to go from the first second. I'm not expecting that.
