That Ranger PP isn’t weak. Panarin is so good. Smith made some huge stops already.

Then a high-stick call on Russell, but the boys did a good job killing the 5-on-3...

Oilers have much longer runs in the attack zone this year. Weird to watch a functional team.

Looks like another game where we have to find a "different way to win".
Some guys look like they were really enjoying new york last night.

Leon, love your passing but they've got to go to the right team. Way too many turnovers for the Oil that period.

What was a "special" play by Archibald before that GA. McDavid jumps up to create a 2 on 1, and he tosses the puck as hard as he can between Mcdavid and the net to send it flying back into his end.
That's stuff you just can't teach.

From what I've see so far the refs seem to be doing everything in their power not to give the Oilers a powerplay.

Doh. If Neal didn't touch that puck it would have been in. Ah well.

Oilers are just way better than last year. Offence is better, less brainfarts on defence, goalies not needing to make 5-bell saves.

Great hard-work goal by Kass to make it 3-1. Seriously, what team are we watching right now?!??

Kassians ability to keep up on the rush with 97 and 29 and get back is great, but if he had a bit more finish he could have 2-3 goals today.

| Have to be aware on a bad angle shot or hard pass of where the puck could end up if you miss. He served one up for them.

I thought it was Kassian too, but somehow they credited the goal to Drai. I guess they don't think Kassian touched it.

Kassian should actually be playing with Nuge 3 on 3, his wheels are that good.
