"The Oilers open their 2019 pre-season schedule with a set of back-to-back games. The Oilers play host to the Winnipeg Jets on September 16 and travel to Vancouver on September 17 to face the Canucks.
Following those back-to-back games, the Oilers return to Rogers Place to face the Vancouver Canucks on September 19 and the Calgary Flames on September 20 in a back-to-back set, as well as host the Arizona Coyotes on September 24. The Oilers conclude the preseason schedule with two road games on September 26 against Winnipeg and September 28 in Calgary."
I like the idea of all the pre-season games for the Oilers being played in Canada across only 3 time zones. I don't think having a team screw up training camp travelling to promote the NHL in every corner of the world helps the team, and does more harm than good.

Lucky season ticket holds getting to buy four pre-season NHL games.
I wonder why they're not doing the split squad series with Calgary this year.
Please do not feed the bears. Feeding the bears creates a dependent population unable to survive on their own. Bears.

Sept. 20th. That's the day we need to mark on our calendars when Giordano comes to town to face the no consequences for recklessly injuring our franchise player.
You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you just might find, you can get a lottery pick.

He's a late-30s veteran...no chance he plays away games during pre-season!

Probably about the same chance of retribution from today's Oilers, in today's NHL.
