According to TSN, Sekera doesn't have to be activated until he plays a game for the Oilers. I thought Sekera was activated when he started his rehab in Bakersfield.

"He returns to the team but remains on LTIR so a roster move doesn't need to be made until they activate him. The Oilers next play on Tuesday against the Arizona Coyotes. "
Maybe "activate" isn't what I think it means. Also, I thought Sekera already was on the roster when he began his Rehab assignment.
Anyways, hope he stays healthy for the rest of the NHL season, and is able to play in his homeland in May for the IIHF World championship.

Pretty sure he was on the non-active see if he's physically able to play assignment. They never did use the conditioning assignment - seems mgt actually did the right thing here in stretching out the last stages of his rehab so he didn't go 0-60 in returning to the NHL... whodathunkit?

Oilers going 18-3-3 the rest of the way to get in the show, last chance to hop aboard.

Been awhile since I’ve said this, but MOGA indeed.
Even if there’s no more MOGA this season can we at least get CARA? Connor’s Art Ross Again.

I figured McDavid alone would be good enough for a couple wins of late, but even that hope is starting to dwindle. Regardless, yeah, sure, I’ll hop on your train o’ belief. Why not?
Side bar: to be perfectly honest, I can see 3-18-3 occurring before 18-3-3.

I'm not sure who else is nominated for the Masterton but Sekera has turned out to be a pretty good story since he came back, and he worked his tail off to return to the NHL. He isn't "sexy", to use a Chiarelli term, but his consistency and work ethic is good to have on an inconsistent team like the Oilers.

Maybe Sekera can teach Lucic how to have a comeback? Comeback specialist?
2015/2016 - This Kool-Aid tastes like McDavid flavoured Drain-O.
2016/2017 - This Kool-Aid is starting to taste like juice.
2017/2018 - I'm drinking this Kool-Aid, in hopes that it's Drain-O.
2018/2019 - Another round of Drain-O, good sir!
