I know 'there's something in the water' is kind of tongue in cheek funny, but what the hell is in their water bottles? Why can't this team manage to keep goals out of the net in the first 5 minutes?

That's some awesome PKing. Pass allowed across everyone 10 ft out from the net, pass allowed to a guy with his stick free right in front of the net.

It was a tough one, not intentional and not hard, but he went in fairly untouched and got the goalie.

I think he was just looking for the puck in the air and didnt realize how close he got.

Beauty PP goal by the Flyers, watching their home broadcast and they said it had been "red hot lately" and if that is the puck movement they get I can see why

Had a feelign the refs were gonna look for anything after not calling McDavid's cross check in the back of Laughton.

Dunno man... but they sure added some character to those bottles with the scrum that ensued after the Hagg dropped Connor.

The sad thing is we will see that when the Oilers fight back in these scrums they will end up short handed, especially on the road.

Outside of the Flyers PP the Oilers have controlled the play in the other 12 mins.

If not for Hart the Oilers could have 4 or 5 already

Player/Coach Connor has implemented some new life. Hopefully this isn’t something that’s easily adjustable for the Flyers. Pedal to the metal. Giver.

Showcasing Talbot??

What Rattie does well is he realizes everyone if focusing on Conner so he waits in the weeds and when he gets the puck, he may be the only guy who doesn't defer to Conner. In fact he kind of uses Connor as a decoy. High hockey IQ. Have we ever seen Drai-Connor-Rttie as a line? I bet it'd be lights out.

Talbot was mentored by The King... I think he’d be a great mentor for Hart. Said it before and stand by it!

Also, I think Couturier could be a good fit here... would allow Drai to be the winger for McDavid and then you’ve got Nuge and Cout for 2nd/3rd C and also balance the PP units out.
