No Cups

My online name? Well... I was on the a climb through the Andes with my Sherpa named Bannu trying to get to the summit of Aconcagua; we were both very new to the climb. We had an odd friendship that developed on this journey, he would pack my stuff and I paid him but we couldn't communicate verbally because his language was from a lost time. It was an arduous journey trying to get to the top filled with life threatening dangers at every turn. We reached about 18000 feet climbing against a smooth facing of some rock we were climbing up when some rocks gave way and I slipped, plunging down, Bannu was tied to me and as I plunged down certain to my death Bannu put in two new climbing hooks into the rock face and threaded our rope through the hooks.

As I fell Bannu's eyes and mine locked knowing that should the climbing hooks not hold it would mean certain death for both of us. As I fell, I accepted my fate with an inner peace I never have experienced before of since, The rope cinched around my waste, pulled tightly, and jerked my body as if it was some kind of yo-yo.

The rope held, I was safe and after I gathered my wits, I re-positioned myself against the rock face and climbed passed Bannu as we both giggled at the peril of certain doom. Bannu patted my should and said Rock - steady! I understood, and nodded laughing along with him,, "Yeah! Rock - steady!!", we laughed about it all the way up to the summit about a 1/2 day later finishing the climb. As we sat at the summit, reflecting upon our feat Bannu held out his hand to shake mine in an act of camaraderie, and said, "Together!". Smiling my relieved and calm demeanour changed, and I stood up and gestured to shake his hand. I grabbed it and drew him close.. my expression drew cold and I looked deep into his confused eyes as if I peered into into his soul. "Together?" I whispered... "to--gether? I paid you to.. to..."

I felt Bannu's hand grow limp as I released the firm grip from his hand while the still confused look in his eyes fell away from mine. Apparently, Bannu inadvertently "slipped" unable to find solid rock to grip onto to stop his stumble and now fatal fall. As Bannu disappeared from site, I said to myself, "Rocksteady? Don't you mean..". *I put on my sunglasses* "Rock - unsteady" and suddenly a screeching eagle could be heard and rock music playing as I descended the summit.

So I used Rocksteady in remembrance that I climbed Aconcagua all by myself with no help... just Me... I thought it would be good to use here..

Okay real story.. Ninja Turtles - Rocksteady and Bebop, my online presence was just starting out, so I wanted something I liked. I liked Rocksteady more than Bebop and I went with it.
I just wanted a back story

The very definition of insanity is doing the exact same thing expecting different results.

Generally Disappointed.
