Stars were double shifting Heiskanen for majority of Rounds 1 & 2 WITH a healthy Tanev...guess it'll be more of the same for rest of this series.

Teams have their own doctors and based on what the media guys I heard on the radio saying, they have x-ray equipment in the building. Guys take shots off the foot all the time. If it's just a bruise, maybe they miss a couple of shifts but they generally don't miss 2/3 of a period if it's just a bruise. They especially usually don't wear a walking boot out of the rink and the next day but maybe I am wrong.
It will be interesting to see if he plays and if he does, how effective he will be. Everyone says he is super tough and gave the example of him 2 yrs ago playing against the Oilers when he couldn't even pass, shoot or handle the puck. If he does, the first think I would do is slash that foot as hard as you can. If you take a slashing penalty, so be it.

Is it wrong my first reaction to this when I saw it was "why is he strolling through the middle of YEG?"
I figured they would have a private gate like most teams/airports, even if they had to clear customs up there. Felt like a bit of a misdirection

With the D options they have I expect they'll shoot his foot up with so much pain killer that he'll be skating in circles.. need to dump it in his corner every chance.. and if he comes out to block a shot.. shoot low and hard.. make him flinch or flamingo 🦩💥
