Man Bouchard is gonna be expensive.

If he has grown into someone who can be to Connor what Letang was to Crosby, he will be worth every dollar.

Mad respect to you easterners. I'm down in Florida tonight for a work conference, and this game starting so late sucks. Glad to be up 2-0, should be 4. Let's keep going

lol - I’m an hour ahead of that, and this game is actually sorta early. One of the LA games, puck drop was after midnight.
I find the late games easier when I’m in France than here - just get up a couple of hours earlier and watch the game before going to the office

I have a buddy in the building. He is Hawks fan that happens to be there for work.
He just texted me that large parts of his section have fully turned on the Canucks already and there was a scattering of booing the team off the ice after the 1st.
The "Skin-ner" chants to start the game petered out pretty quick when the Canucks couldnt get a shot.
Add in the Bronx cheer when they got their second shot on a dump in from the neutral zone and we are seeing the greatest hits.
Next up, chucking garbage on the ice?
Never change Canucks fans.

Yep, foot on the throat if they can break out of the mini-slump here. Canucks pushed hard the last 5 minutes so a goal here would be a massive shot to the morale.

And there it is!
93.8 on that Bouch bomb.
Still don't let up. They will likely have one more push so play smart and then keep attacking.

I’m 100% sure McDavid is really hurt. Not shooting AT ALL, and not throwing the body like he was against the Kings and all last year.

The Oilers will see a challenge for 3 or 4 shifts here. If the Canucks get nothing going both the team and fans will deflate fast.
That is when the team needs to push back and take this thing home.

As much as I’ve preached “keep pushing”, why would Ekholm not just have waited behind the net until someone came to get him?

Watching him on face off's and his near enough standing up rather than getting down to compete, it's more noticable in this third period, but even at what ever percentage of fitness he's helping the team right now.
