#LetsGoOilers Connor McDavid has now matched Wayne Gretzky’s best 10-game start to a 200-point season.
1984-85 Gretzky 11-19–30
2026-27 McDavid 7-23–30
Gretzky had four career 200-point seasons (only one to do it). Other three starts he had 25, 24 and 17 through 10 GP.
broke that one with 31 points now
and:

McDavid has also set the record for most assists in the first 10 games of a season. Mario Lemieux had 21 in 1989/1990.
McDavid has 23./I]
We are watching something truly insane right now

Top 3 scorers in the league.
Mcdavid
Draisaitl
Bouchard
that's absurd. I wonder when was the last time that happened 10 games in. I'm assuming 80s Oilers.
Whats more likely - Mcdavid 200 points or Draisaitl 50g in 50 games?
My only hope for this team moving forward is health. If they can avoid major injuries to their big 3 they are going to be tough to beat.
