Interesting that Larkin is reporting to camp, although injured.

The Larkin thing will be interesting to follow. There was a video of him looking like he was really mailing it in at training camp.
If you have a veteran, former captain, just going through the motions, completely unengaged and uninterested and mailing it in... what impact does that have on the rest of the lineup? I feel like at least in Winnipeg, while they will be much less talented, at least there is something to galvanize them in an "us against the world" type of mentality.

Meh, people read too much in to a lot of things. Training camp for a veteran is really about just not getting hurt. I'm sure there's dozens and dozens of veteran players mailing it in right now - just they haven't made trade requests.
"Thinking that a bad team's best players are the reason the team is bad is the "Tambellini re-signing Lennart Petrell" of sports opinions." @Woodguy55
