Very awkward for the Ducks. Their rebuild is finally starting to bear fruit, fans interested, jerseys flying off the shelves for this ~20 year old core of skilled young guys, and this happens.

If they take the picks, they need to make a very savvy traded ASAP to get an impact player back trading them. People speculating Larkin, but Larkin is already 29 and starting to take a step back. That's a bit of a derailment of what they have been building towards. But Larkin does cost 9M less than what they would match Carlsson for.
