This is the most important off-season in my life as an Oilers fan.


I would argue that was last year and this management team fumbled literally every decision they made. They took this team from back-to-back SCF appearances to a team that has very little going for it besides a handful of players. Only made the playoffs off the back of being in the worst division in decades.

The problems we had in 2025 are somehow much worse in 2026. It's insane that Bowman stays around and Knoblach leaves. This organization completely ignores the real problem and lets the incompetence continue at full steam.

I think we need to get used to the fact that we'll be enjoying McDavid's last full (and maybe last overall) season with the Oilers.
