And despite what many have said, I’m not sure it did cross the line. The red paint is not a straight line, it fades into the white, and I don’t know what the rule is for exactly where the line is.

It's weird how many people are repeating this idea that they got the call right so who cares how they got there.
First of all how they got there is a huge problem. I'd bet my house that the beer leaguers went into their huddle and got told through their ear piece to call it a goal so the burden of proof would need to show that it wasn't in. There is simply no other explanation that makes sense. They didn't see it and made no indication that they thought it was a goal until they got the instruction.
Second of all it is far from clear that it was in. You can see the white dot in the middle of the puck. It takes two seconds to take that radius and apply it towards the goal line. Of course camera angles and tilt of the puck can impact it but it's nowhere close to being conclusive and anyone saying it is are lying.
