Skinner was at least a homegrown player who was always cheap. He couldn't be trusted in the most important moments but one thing you could never say about him was that he was overpaid. With a competent organization he should have been an extremely easy player to move on from without tying another boat anchor to the team.
Campbell was a bad contract but at least he didn't cost the team any assets.
Jarry is by far the worst. They gave up a significant package to get him including pieces that could help them right now AND his salary has and will continue to prevent them from improving in other areas.
How they watched this guy play and decided he was someone they could trust in high pressure moments is mind boggling. Just an all time brutal move. GM/Pro Scouting department should be fired for that move alone.

This.
You could say that same thing about Mangiapane, Ferderic, J. Skinner, Arvidson, Walman and the worst of them all.. betting against Broberg and Holloway .. just plain bad player talent assessments .. bad decisions.. the kind that should get scouts and GM's fired..
Oilers would be miles ahead if they would've picked a guy like Brian Lawton for GM a long time ago..
