Seems like we got a gamer in Savoie. Awesome development curve this season from depth minutes and developing his defensive game on the PK, all the way up to looking like he belongs with McDavid on the top line. Can debate if he would have been given this ice time if Drai wasn't hurt of course, but that would be on Knob if he didn't, he definitely deserved this time and is making great used of the opportunitiy.

Still wish we could have taken advantage of Adams more and not given up a solid 2-way player in McLeod, but Savoie is slowly tilting this trade back in our favor. I know the unemployed Adams is getting all kinds of praise because Buffalo went on a PDO heater right after he was fired, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Buffalo back struggling to just get a wildcard spot again next season. I still think he was a GM that teams could take advantage of while he was still employed.
