Look how uncomfortable he was when Spector confronted him about his play. It was probably a complete shock to him after being given a pass for terrible play for half a decade straight. I don't want to give the media guys that much kudos though, they may have been told that they are allowed to go after the McDrai ultimate BFF by management now. Probably aren't just doing it because they finally woke up to what a liability this guy is, on the ice and on the cap. The org may finally have had enough and opened the door to calling out Nurse.

I'll give Spec exactly zero credit. He's just doing his normal lazy schtick, trying to A) get a quote that fits the story he already wrote and B) trying to get his name mentioned online a bunch in hopes it makes people click in to his story.
He isn't a coach. He's not even a good pundit. Players shouldn't have to respond to him being rude and in their face in at attempt to self-aggrandize.
I do think it's funny that it's now got him in a feud with Spittin' Chiclets though.
