We need to hire one of those a-hole coaches at some point. Hitchcock was the closest we got, but he was so old and laid back, he didn't do his real Hitchcock thing with these players. Eakins was a weird egomaniac, but he was so preoccupied trying to figure out how to crack the >50% corsi code, he wasn't able to focus on mistakes that actually mattered. His quest for >50% corsi actually became the source of mistakes. He only picked out one guy to abuse as well.
Tippett, pushover. Woodcroft, pushover. McLellan only was a jerk to players through the media, and he only fixated on a few side individuals as well.
These players deserve at least one guy that loses his S#$@ on any player for mistakes and laziness.

I myself have sometimes wondered if the elixir for this particular club to get over the top is a short shelf life, take no BS, one set of rules coach. Too often I get the vibe that the tail is somewhat wagging the dog in that room with the string of coaches that have come through here.
