That tells you all you need to know about the thinking of Team Canada management .. they value pluggers higher than skill, speed and agility.
not to mention the smell of nepotism.. London Knight coach picks his 3rd line player..

If they picked pluggers then they sure did not bring their work boots with them. From what I watched, they reminded me of the Edmonton Oilers when they are struggling. Relied on the top two lines to drive the play, had an elite power play and were outworked for large stretches of games. Goaltending did not steal any games.

I think the pluggers had the will and character.. just not enough speed, fitness and skill.. hard to create an effective forecheck when you are always late to the gate and chasing the puck 2 steps behind..
Oilers bottom 6 have the same problem.. too slow and unskilled.. except most of them lack the "will" part as well. IMHO
