Bouchard has been playing weak sauce D in this one as well. A number of the Stars goals, he's just given up completely on the play.

He just won’t ever get it together and neither will this goaltending.
I seriously doubt we even make playoffs. This is past pathetic

Bouchard is too physically weak to play NHL defence, he loses the majority of his puck battles, and it ends up in his net.. he's all stick check.. and he's not very good at it.

Yet, 3 playoffs in a row Bouch ends up one of our most effective D on both sides of the puck. When his head is in the game he is stealing pucks and making endless solid breakout plays. When his head is not in the game, well, you get what most of our guys are bringing this season.
I worry much less about guys that I know will bring it when the chips are down. I worry much more about guys that I know will crumble or just play as crappy as I see them now when the games matter (Skinner, Nurse two of the biggest examples).
