over his career he averages about a point every 4.5 games. Since joining San Jose in 2024 and now continuing with the Oilers, that's up to about a point every 1.5 games.
Sure, he's playing more minutes, but that's a big increase and comes with big expectations (from coaches and himself)

I'm less concerned about any points he gets.. IMHO his defensive play has gone downhill this season.. positionally weak.. coughing up pucks.. and his skating looks slower.. gets beat to pucks.. too often.. He was a bright spot for me last season.. hoping its a lingering injury and not 100% fit Walman or we're in trouble.
